Don Guillermo's Professional Spanish Center
925 E. 17th Ave., Denver, CO  80218
Established in 1977

Don Guillermo, a former high school Spanish teacher, began the business as Guillermo's Spanish Center. The name was changed to Don Guillermo's Professional Spanish Center in 1996 to avoid confusion with another school.

Guillermo Salazar is a graduate of Duquesne University with a major in Spanish Language and Literature. He was head of the Spanish department at Fontbonne Academy, a Catholic girls school in Pennsylvania. He subsequently pursued a career as a professional Flamenco guitarist, both as soloist and dance accompanist.

Mr. Salazar began his popular Spanish Language Center to help make a bridge between cultures. Guillermo continues teaching Spanish language and Flamenco guitar at his center near downtown Denver, Colorado.
